An Overview of Lost Ark’s Tulubik Battlefield

 

It’s time to head to the battlefield and prove your worth.

As a follow-up to the anniversary update, we just had in February, the developers of Lost Ark are getting ready to launch the Tulubik battlefield. That’s right—March will see the MMORPG's latest PvP content release. For those that haven’t logged into the game with their Lost Ark accounts for a while, the Tulubik Battlefield is a 48v48, realm-versus-realm style battle that determines the fate of Rowen, a continent recently added in February.

 

The war is almost upon us, so it’s time to choose where you side. Will you be part of a faction that unleashes a rebellion? Or will you try and maintain order?

 

Choosing A Faction

 

Rowen is a prosperous continent because it’s rich with Sylmael crystals. These crystals are regarded as precious raw materials, making them highly sought after—especially for leading powers that want more Lost Ark gold. Sadly, what became a rare material used for forging quickly turned into the reason for pandemonium. Sylmael crystals split a war-torn country into two factions: Preigelli and Liebertane.

 

The Preigelli faction are mercenaries that love all things related to machinery. They fight for a society that maintains order and strict rules. On the other side of the spectrum, Liebertane is filled with mages and pirates that seek a lawless land. No man’s land is the way to go for the Liebertane, and those who oppose that idea would get a taste of what their followers have to offer.

 

If you haven’t set foot in Rowen yet and picked a faction of your choice, now’s the best time. There’s still a bit of time left before the Tulubik Battlefield update arrives, so pick which side you want to be with. Doing so allows you to earn faction XP through co-op quests, defeating players from the opposing faction, capturing bases during battles, and more.

 

Gaining faction XP lets you rank up your faction loyalty; the higher you go, the more faction skins you’ll be able to earn for your character. Moreover, besides acquiring gear, you can also obtain card packs, honing materials, and unique mounts. There are currently 15 faction ranks to advance through.

 

Requirements to Participate In the Carnage

 

If you’re as excited as we are about joining the scuffle, you must complete a few prerequisites before diving straight into the carnage. You’ll need at least item level 1445 to become eligible for the Rowen world quest line. That’s the item level required for you to pick a faction. You must also have completed the “Devastated Eliyabeck” world quest to join the future battles for your faction.

 

But wait—you can’t participate in the Tulubik Battlefield just yet. That’s because Lost Ark will restrict access to the battlefield to item level 1490 and Faction Rank 3. This means you’ll need to level up your faction loyalty before you can get into the 48v48 matches.

 

An Order to the Chaos

 

Funnily enough, despite the Tulubik Battlefield being advertised as a PvP mode where you can expect everything to go haywire, there’s an order to the chaos. Players are tasked with capturing bases and defeating enemies to prove their faction’s supremacy. Over time, bases will bring magic to the factions; the more bases you conquer, the more magic you’ll accumulate for your side. The ultimate goal in the Tulubik Battlefield is to gather more magic than the enemy faction to gain complete control.

 

There are also ways for you to increase your Contribution Level. Shake the balance between the two factions through individual actions, such as capturing bases, creating a powerful Knight Spirit to support your field, and eliminating enemies. Your goal is to make a difference in the sprawling battlefield, and it’s your choice on how you want to do just that.

 

Once that battle concludes, everyone receives rewards like Symael Crystals and faction XP based on their performance. The better you did in the battle, the more goodies you can get for yourself.

 

A Schedule for the Mayhem

 

The realm-versus-realm boss fights, battles, and quests will be limited to specific times and days. Despite Rowen being a land that’s hosting an all-out war, it runs a consistent schedule on when the action will take place.

 

The Tulubik Battlefield will run on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 PM. The 96-player matches will also run on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM and 8 PM.

 

Co-op quests are held every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:30 PM. They’re also available on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30 PM and 8:30 PM, respectively.

 

If you’re thinking of doing some Field Bosses for Lost Ark currency, you can fight them hourly on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 3 to 11 PM (except 7 PM). They also spawn on Saturdays, but only at 3 PM. Note that all these times are local times.
